Booking

The Centre is open 1st March to 30th November (restricted availability 1st - 30th November). Individual & family activities operate only at weekends (occasional weekdays subject to availability). Corporate & group activities are available to book most days each week.

* Please contact the centre for availability on preferred dates to check availability. *4– 6 weeks booking in advance is advisable (although occasionally less notice is successful). the diary opens for bookings 2 months in advance for individual activities.

* For direct bookings payment in full for all activities is required at time of booking. Payment can be made over the phone using Master Card or Visa, or with a cheque in the post ( bookings made via cheque will be held for 3 working days beyond which the provisional booking will be considered cancelled. It is the participant or their organisers responsibity to ensure that cheques are received by Monster Events Ltd within the time limit). Cheques will not be accepted less than 2 weeks prior to the event day & all cheques must have a cheque guarantee number on the back.

•  Once a booking has been made a confirmation of booking with map/directions to the centre and all necessary information will be sent. It is important that participants read the confirmation & advise their guests of Monster Events Ltd Terms & Conditions.

•  In the event that a change to your date/time of booking is required you may make an application for transfer a minimum of 14 days prior to the original course date. An administration fee of £20 will be charged for arranging the transfer. Applications for transfer within 14 days will be refused.

In the event that a change of name for the participant (individual driving activities only) is required this can be arranged with a minimum of 7 days notice without charge. Change of name for participants with less than 7 days notice will be subject to a £20 administration fee.

•  Non-attendance on the date of booking will result in the entire fee being forfeited.

•  Spectators accompanying the participant are welcome to a maximum of 3 spectators per participant.

Our activity gift vouchers & money vouchers make the perfect gift for all occasions from birthdays & anniversaries to staff incentives and rewards. All of our individual and packaged activities are available as gift vouchers that make the most unique and unforgettable presents for all ages (minimum spend £25 for full colour personalised voucher and Monster Events occasions card) .

Our gift vouchers are valid for 9 months from date of purchase allowing the recipient the freedom to redeem the experience at a time and date to suit (subject to availability). Gift vouchers are usually dispatched within 24 hours (48 hours in busy periods) of your completed order by 1 st Class Royal Mail (due to the local post office closures we are no longer able to offer next day special delivery).

Redeeming your voucher:

•  Please telephone the centre on 01234 771904 to pre-book your activity with your preferred dates and times & voucher number.

•  Booking is strictly subject to availability. The Centre books a maximum of 2 months in advance for individual activities & it is advisable to give as much notice as possible up to this point.

•  Individual & package activities operate only at weekends (occasionally some weekday availability).

•  Vouchers must be used prior to, or on date of, expiry.

•  Vouchers will not be redeemed if lost, damaged or defaced.

•  Once you have booked you will need to send your voucher to Monster Events to confirm your booking.

•  Upon receipt of your voucher a confirmation of booking with map/directions to the centre and all necessary information will be sent. It is important that participants read the confirmation & advise their guests of Monster Events Ltd Terms & Conditions.

Refunds

You have the right to return vouchers purchased directly with Monster Events Ltd within 7 days of purchase and a full refund will be paid subject to an administration fee of £20.00. No refunds will be available after the statutory 7 days. All refunds will be made to the person who purchased the voucher and the monies will be refunded directly to the credit card used to make the purchase. All refunds are processed at month end. To request a refund you must return your voucher to Monster Events Ltd, along with a covering letter detailing the reason for your refund request.

Voucher Extensions

Vouchers are valid for 9 months and can be extended for a further 9 months if requested before the expiry date. Extensions will incur a £20 or 20% (whichever is greater) administration charge in addition to any increase in the activity cost since the purchase of the original voucher.

CHILDREN'S PARTIES top

The Monster Events Centre is the perfect venue for birthday parties for all ages.

With our individual activity booking system you have the freedom to choose the number of guests, how many and which activities you want and the time of your party according to your budget, preferences and time scale. So you can create a celebration event for just the birthday person and best friend, or the whole class or office, or for the family – the choice is yours.

In addition to the activities we provide the party menu if required. Hot dogs, burgers, crisps & salad (@ £3.50 pp) is the preferred choice for our younger guests and B.B.Q's (POA) are popular with adult groups. Beverages are not included in the menu and a full range of hot & cold drinks are available to purchase in the cabin. Menus for groups will require pre-booking.

Party invitations, including map, what to wear, dietry requirements, times, activities & reply slip are available to purchase @ £2.50 for 8.

Example party times for 8 guests on the quad bikes & monster truck ride with menu is approximately 1.5 hours

What to Wear Top

Particpants and their guests are advised to wear flat-soled sturdy footwear for their visit to the centre (no spiked heels please for participants or their guests).

Participants for all events should wear clothing suitable to the environment and weather (gloves are recommended during winter months). Casual, comfortable clothing is ideal. For all activities flat-soled shoes or boots are mandatory (trainers, walking boots, wellington boots, etc.).

Long trousers (no shorts) are required for quad bike riding for all ages. Long sleeved tops for adult quad bikes is advisable. A change of footwear for the quad bikes is recommended in winter months.

In inclement weather coveralls are recommended for the adult quad bikes. Coveralls are available to hire @ £4.00 per set subject to availability (Adult sizes S-XXL only).

Safety helmets and all necessary safety equipment for each activity is provided by the centre.

Weather & the Activities

All activities operated all year in all weather conditions with the exception of the quad bikes if lightening is present. In the interests of safety access to some parts of the 4x4 off-road course & some areas of the monster truck course may be restricted to participants in very wet or frozen conditions.

Directions Top

The Monster Events Centre is based close to Bedford with easy access from the A1, M1 and A14. Full directions & a map to the centre are enclosed with all letters confirming your booking.

Terms & Conditions Top

•  Please observe all speed limits whilst at the centre (15 mph on access road & 5 mph in car park).

•  Dogs are not permitted at the centre

•  Children are the responsibility of accompanying adults whilst at the centre (adult/child ratio of 1:6 over 10 years & 1:3 under 10 years).

•  As the centre has its' own catering facilities picnics are not permitted within the Monster Events grounds.

•  Ball games & similar are not permitted on site.

•  Participants are required to be in good general health with a good general level of fitness (various disabilities are catered for on the activities – please contact the centre to discuss specific disabilities/activities).

•  All participants & their guests must remain within the designated safety areas.

•  Participants & their guests suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused access to the centre and participation in any activities.

Spectators accompanying the participant are most welcome (no charge for spectators to a max of 3 per particpant).

* Dangerous or inappropriate behaviour will result in the termination of all activities with no refund being due.
